'Reality' is 12 songs. Songs 2 through 11 were all written and recorded in June-December 2021. The first and last were written this year.  Felt like a nice way to package an older project.  There will be a physical version of the album with bonus tracks available a couple weeks after its digital release.  I'm only making 100 at first but I could be convinced to make more if y'all want. 

I'm excited to be letting these go, to move onto something more current.  The response to 'I won't lose sight of my worth' has been awesome.  People are seeming to really like it. That's like one of my favorites.  I wanna drop one more single before it comes out fully.  It will probably come out May 15th.

'You' is out now.  I made this song with one of my best friends, Gordon. We worked really hard on it, wrote the first version on June 6th, 2021.  It feels good that it's out now.

I just uploaded everything to be released.  The new album.  Everything is self produced.  I still don't have management or a production budget and for now, I'm okay with that.  Everything that has happened has been made possible by those who listened and donated to getting me a new laptop when my hard drive was destroyed early 2022 (lol).

It's been a very full year so far, and it's only March.  I lost my dad unexpectedly in December, and I was hoping to show him the album when it was done.  It was close to being finished for a really long time, but I just never took the time to complete it.  Losing him crushed me.  I grieve everyday. He's the reason I started the patchymate project in many ways; my biggest inspiration.  The new record is dedicated to him.

You might have noticed I haven't gotten the merch online yet.  In the car accident from November, some of it was damaged, and I cancelled my shopify subscription while I wasn't using it.  I had to take some time off with everything going on, you know? I still have like 30 hoodies left.  I'll get them online eventually.

There will be new merch for the new album. It comes out on May 21st, 2024.  3 years after Avian.  It will feel good to put this one to rest.
